DESIGN ENGINEERS
- Develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems.
- Develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems.
- Develop, document, and maintain company processes, procedures, and work instructions and makes suggestions for improvements.
- Assist in resolution of programmatic and technical problems that affect cost, schedule, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff.
- Act in a technical leadership capacity.
- Interact with external and internal customers and suppliers and other members of the Integrated Product Team.
- Verifies all design and drafting standards are met, checks for interaction of design with adjacent structures and/or systems.
- BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a similar engineering discipline, or equivalent technical work experience required.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in designing aircraft metallic and composite structures starting at a conceptual level.
- Working knowledge of aircraft structures, design of composite and metallic parts and assemblies, stress, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with following CAD software packages: CATIA V5 (preferred), UG NX or ProE (may be acceptable).
STRESS ENGINEERS
- Lead structural analysis activities to support the design and certification of aerospace structure.
- Evaluate structural integrity using established analysis methods and computer tools.
- Coordinate with other engineering groups and program management.
- Responsible for formal documentation of analysis to support customer requirements and certification efforts.
- Provide technical direction to less experienced staff members.
- Develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems.
- BS degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in structural analysis of aircraft components starting at a conceptual level.
- Position requires sound engineering judgement, technical leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with finite element programming and a working knowledge of static, fatigue, and damage tolerance methods. FEMAP experience highly desired.
FUEL/ELECTRICAL /HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS SPECIALIST
- Direct position.
- Experience with following CAD software packages: UG NX (preferred) and CATIA V5 (desired).
DESIGN AND STRESS ENGINEERS
- Nacelle and Thrust Reverser experience required.
- Design Engineers needed with a minimum of 5 years of CATIA V5 experience.
- Stress Engineers needed with a minimum of 5 years experience. Expert in FEM highly desired. Nastran/Patran and iFEM required to integrate loads.
