Selected individuals will be responsible for Design Validation of designs and modifications for intended application and to the applicable requirements. Will perform analytical work and necessary testing and prepare documents in support of Design Validation.

Design Validation Engineer II must have MS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering with 2-4 years of FEA related experience using LS-Dyna, Altair HyerWorks suite and Madymo or BS degree with 4-6 years experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.

The Design Validation Engineer I must have MS in Mechanical, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering with minimum of 2 years FEA experience using LS-Dyna and Altair HyperWorks suiteBoth positions require strong mechanical aptitude and background in basic structural engineering such as free body diagrams and strength of materials, as well as a broad understanding of finite element analysis and fatigue methods. Must have knowledge of composites and ability to think strategically, solve problems, perform standard stress analysis, generate documents and reports, as well as create/analyze CAD drawings. Knowledge of stochastic/statistical tools (DOE), optimization tools FAA regulations and Boeing/Airbus specifications are preferred. Basic ProE skill, experience in transport airplane certification process and knowledge of all phases of engineering applicable to seating products are also preferred.
